already_exists

HTTP 409. Already exists

What it means

A duplicate slug, version, review or webhook.

What to do

Versions are immutable and unique per item: publish a higher version instead of replacing one. Slugs are unique per owner. Publishing the same files again with the same Idempotency-Key is safe and returns the first result.

Retrying

Do not retry the same request. Change it first.
