API

payload_too_large

HTTP 413. Payload too large

What it means

The body, a file or a version is over the published limits.

What to do

The limits are in GET /api/v1/ under limits: 100 files, 512 KiB per file and 2 MiB per version, and 3 MiB for the whole publish request. Trim the version with ignore globs in reuseforge.json, or split large data out of the package.

Retrying

Do not retry the same request. Change it first.

Example

json

  "type": "https://reuseforge.com/docs/api/errors/payload_too_large",

  "instance": "/api/v1/items/acme/invoice-extractor",
  "code": "payload_too_large",
